Cantilever brakes

Cantilever brakes are a group of bicycle brake systems, that belong to the rim brakes. They generate their brake action by the friction of the brake shoes at the rotating bike rim. These brakes are mainly used for mountain bikes (MTB), all terrain bikes (ATB) and cyclo-cross bikes.
