27,5 instead of 26 inches – the new wheel size offers an excellent compromise for a versatile and uncomplicated bike. Our ROSE COUNT SOLO 1 impresses with superior handling and a high-performance frame made from durable aluminium that weighs no more than 1300 grams. Equipped with the proven DT Swiss X 1900 Spline wheel set, the COUNT SOLO 1 is a true all-rounder. The advantages of its 27,5” wheels are a smoother running and a better roll-over behaviour. A Spline hub and Straight Pull spokes provide high durability. As the name suggests, those spokes run straight and do not have an elbow that represents the most sensitive part of conventional wheels. The X 1900 Spline wheels feature robust thru axles on front and rear and also offer the possibility to use tubeless tyres. Reliable Shimano Deore brakes are a perfect complement. With 180 mm and 160 mm large brake discs, they are robust and uncomplicated and provide a safe deceleration.
The ROSE UNCLE JIMBO 2 is a classic enduro bike. 160 mm of travel at the front and 165 mm at the rear offer superior uphill and downhill performance. The suspension elements both come from the company RockShox. At the front, the excellent suspension fork RockShox Pike RCT3 even manages technically demanding downhills with ease and thanks to a 15 mm thru axle, it is also extremely torsion-resistant. The fork features external rebound adjustment, low-speed compression as well as 3-position compression. At the rear, a compatible RockShox Monarch Plus RC3 shock does its job and also offers external rebound adjustment. Also on board: 3-position compression. An excellent suspension system also needs proper brakes. The UNCLE JIMBO 2 shows off with a Formula T1 disc brake with 203 mm/180 mm large brake discs. It features forged brake levers with integrated, tool-free lever reach adjustment, a tool-free pressure point adjustment at the lever, as well as the Enhanced Calliper technology (ECT). It is characterized by a larger distance between brake disc and brake pads and thus reduces annoying rubbing and facilitates the installation and adjustment of the disc brakes.
Riding this bike is a declaration of war: With a weight of a mere 10 kilograms and really good components, the ROSE COUNT SOLO 2 offers top performance at a top price. Putting together a bike with those specifications is a true challenge. However, we have used this motivation to develop an affordable bike with racing qualities. The essential part of a mountain bike is the suspension fork, as it significantly contributes to a bike’s character. The RockShox Reba RLT Solo Air with a travel of 100 mm and a 15 mm thru axle is a sensitive and extremely stable performer on singletracks and racing tracks throughout the globe. Its PushLoc lever located on the handlebar allows you to lock the compression in every situation. When looking for reliable components, Shimano is always a good choice thanks to the manufacturer’s vast experience. Driven by a Shimano XT crank with 42/32/24 teeth, the power is transferred to the 10-speed SLX cassette and its transmission can be precisely and smoothly changed with the XT rear and front derailleur.
When the leaves are falling and the ground is muddy and slippery, the time of cyclo-cross bikes begins. These bikes are true off-road racers, they are all-round artists in the mud. A bike that withstands those bad conditions has to be reliable and robust – just like our PRO DX CROSS-2000. That’s why our entry-level model also comes with high-quality, robust parts that promise lasting riding pleasure. The convincing and proven Shimano 105 group is accompanied by AVID mechanical disc brakes. They feature 160 mm rotors which are extremely stable and offer excellent deceleration as well as increased safety. To control the arising forces, the bike’s high-quality, stiff Mavic CROSSRIDE FTS-X 29 disc wheels are equipped with a thru axle at the front. Let the wild ride begin!
This woodsman loves wet and muddy ground. Equipped with best components, it reliably works its way through the forest. Of course, a hydraulic disc brake is indispensable for best cross bike action. That’s why the PRO DX CROSS-3000 comes with Shimano brakes with 160 mm rotors on front and back that reliably stop the bike. The matching DT Swiss R 24 Spline Disc system wheels are suitable for use with disc brakes and feature top technology and a 15 mm thru axle at the front. The bike’s cockpit is strong and elegant: A Ritchey Evo Curve handlebar and a Ritchey 4 Axis WTD stem allow for perfect control. The shock-absorbing characteristics of the bike’s comfortable and flexing ROSE RC-170 Flex carbon seat post especially prove advantageous on long distances. It’s up to you: Do you want to brave the weather and improve your riding technique and endurance? Get on your bike!
All those who are looking for a zippy and uncomplicated hardtail should go for the ROSE THE UPRISING 1. Equipped with reliable and functional parts, the bike offers the ideal basis for exciting bike adventures. Apart from the frame, its lightweight and torsion-resistant X 1900 Spline wheel set from the Swiss high-quality manufacturer DT Swiss lays the foundations for an agile handling. Its Spline hubs with completely straight stainless steel spokes ensure an even load distribution over the spokes thanks to the Straight-Pull system. Conventional spokes with elbows are subject to extreme stresses in the area of the spoke bends which can result in spoke breakage or in the total failure of the wheel. This risk is also reduced by a screw lock that is injected directly into the DT Swiss nipples and thus contributes to the wheels’ stiffness and durability. Thanks to the Shimano Deore brake with 180 mm and 160 mm brake discs and great braking power modulation, the THE UPRISING 1 securely comes to a halt.
Nimbly and fast the ROSE THE UPRISING 2 rolls through the terrain on its 29-inch wheels. The lightweight frame with a weight of only 1450 grams offers top performance while being extremely durable. The proven RockShox Reba RLT Solo Air with a travel of 100 mm, a robust tapered steerer tube and a 15 mm thru axle impresses with a good performance on every trail. Its wide range of adjustment possibilities including air pressure, rebound, compression and lockout, as well as an externally adjustable breakaway torque in the lockout mode turn this fork into a precise and reliable tool on demanding trails. For ultimate comfort, the “on the fly” compression can be quickly adjusted via a PushLoc lever on the handlebar. Apart from the solid Shimano XT aluminium crankset with 38/24-tooth chainrings, an arsenal of additional high-quality parts of Shimano’s XT and SLX groups is responsible for a fast acceleration. A high-quality Formula-CR1 disc brake with 180/160 mm brake discs provides great deceleration.
