Description

The PRO SL is the secret weapon among ROSE aluminium road bikes and regularly scores test victories in specialist magazines. No surprise! The frame weighs a mere 1280 grams, is triple butted and comes in an elegant carbon look. The parts are of high quality. Lightweight Mavic Aksium wheels and 25 mm wide Zaffiro Pro IV Graphene tyres by Vittoria provide low rolling resistance for higher speeds. The innovative rubber compound with pure carbon additionally impresses with excellent puncture protection and outstanding durability. The Selle Italia X3 saddle and the flexing Ritchey seat post make sure you will also feel comfortable on long distances. And with the Ritchey Road Streem II drop bar, you will have any situation under control. You can equip the PRO SL with three different Shimano groups: The Tiagra represents the entry-level model and is followed by the brand-new 105 series group and the Ultegra that is known for precision and reliability.

Looks and feels very good! Great quality.
I didn't have a torque wrench small enough to assemble the parts, be sure to have one when you get the bike and you are good to go.

What a sensational little bike. Absolutely love it. Looks amazing, and really can't tell if it is carbon or alluminum, just if you look closely. Size 51 in red color weights 8,4 kg, but I think is more than reasonable for an alluminum frame. The price-quality ratio seems to be the best, didn't find anything to match. Got it 1 week earlier than it was scheduled (just 6 working days),the only negative thing I would mention is that wasn't packed with to much care (probably forgot to put everything in the box, I found the user manual almost outside of the box after the seal was cut; the seatpost clamp was blocked between frame and back brake calliper - fortunately no scratch; there was no protection on the back wheel hub and the box had a hole near to that spot - seems there is no problem though). Didn't test it yet, most probably in spring, but hope is riding as good as it looks.

I was looking for a a new winter bike and picked this based on the previous models reviews, WOW , what a little bruiser , I love it . Handles great, rolls up the hills with ease and is fast when you want it to be... just pop the power down and it's off.
The welding on frame is super and it looks great in Matt black . The finish kit is perfect match . I prefer riding this than my more expensive carbon bikes, thought i'd never say that. I may ride this all year . Don't think about buying one just do it . GREAT JOB ROSE .. a perfect little bike : )

Heute die erste Ausfahrt gemacht ( PRO SL 105 in rot, RH 57 )
Wie nicht anders von Rose zu erwarten, ist das Rad für den Preis absolut Top.
Nur habe ich den billigen Sattel gegen einen Prologo Nago Evo getauscht, Vorbau und Stütze gegen bessere Ritchey WCS Teile.
Mittlerweile ist es mein drittes Pro SL in Alu ( Modelljahr 2002 , 2010 und jetzt 2018 ).
Mein rundum positives Urteil: Mehr braucht es nicht für ein gutes und funktionales Trainingsgerät.
Und genau dafür benutze ich das Rad bei jedem Wetter und Jahreszeit.
