The Sigma AURA 170 HB LINK / HIRO 50 LINK lighting set combines a powerful front light with switchable high beam and a rear light with emergency and brake light function into a compelling overall package.
 
With up to 170 lux illuminance in high beam mode, the front light ensures extensive, homogeneous and long-range illumination. Using the wireless handlebar switch, you can conveniently switch between dipped beam and high beam without having to take your hands off the handlebars. In dipped beam mode, there are up to 150 lux illuminance. The AUTO mode offers you a clever and convenient automatic function: Thanks to the integrated brightness sensor, the front light automatically adjusts its illuminance to the ambient brightness in a range of 50 to 150 lux. This means you always have enough light when you need it, and can save the battery at the same time. This function can show its strength especially in changing light conditions, rides through the city and when setting off at dusk. Thanks to the four-stage battery indicator, you always have the battery level in view and can recharge in good time. 
 
You can easily mount the front light on your handlebars using the enclosed screw bracket. Thanks to the DUAL MOUNTING OPTION (DMO), you can also attach the AURA 170 HB LINK to compatible holders with a GoPro mount underneath your bike computer. This makes the AURA 170 LINK ideal for modern drop bar bikes with aero handlebars and integrated cockpits.
 
The Sigma HIRO 50 LINK rear light also comes with many helpful features: In regular mode, one LED of the rear light shines continuously. During braking, all three LEDs of the rear light shine particularly brightly, which can alert following road users to your rapid reduction in speed. In addition, the light has an integrated emergency brake light, which reacts to heavy braking with a pulsating warning signal. This allows critical braking manoeuvres to be recognised earlier – especially in dense city traffic, during fast road bike rides or in poor visibility conditions.
 
With the LINK function, you can connect the AURA 170 LINK front light with the HIRO 50 LINK rear light to form a convenient lighting system. When coupled, both lights can be switched on and off together via the front light. Furthermore, you can conveniently read the battery level of both lights on the front light's display and see in good time when charging is required.
 
Optionally, both devices can be connected to the Sigma Ride app on your smartphone via Bluetooth. With the AURA 170 LINK front light, you can read the battery level in the app, set light modes, assign device names, and install firmware updates. For the HIRO 50 LINK rear light, you can have the battery level of the rear light displayed.
 
The combination of reliable road illumination, emergency and brake light function, as well as convenient LINK control, makes this set a well-thought-out lighting for everyday use, extended tours, and sporty road bike rides.
